UPDATE, DEC 30TH:
According to the CEPT agreement, foreign operators in Russia should use the call RA/xxxxxx without any district number indicated. This means in reality that I can work from any location from the Finnish border to the Pacific Ocean with the same call RA/SM6LRR (also including operation from three separate DXCC-entities: European Russia (UA1, 3, 4, 6), Asiatic Russia (UA9,0) and Kaliningrad (UA2). As my new employment will involve a lot of business trips, I have decided to create a list on QRZ.COM showing the different dates and locations I will work from. My home location will remain in the Moscow area, so any dates not mentioned in this list indicate operation from Moscow or Moscow Region (UA3A or UA3D). October 24th, 2011 Asiatic Russia, Magadan (RDA: MG-01) (from UA0IT) December 29th, 2011, Asiatic Russia, Khabarovsk (RDA: HK-04) (from RA0CGY) February 9th, 2012, Asiatic Russia, Norilsk (RDA: KK-66) (from UA0BA)
UPDATE, SEP 29TH: All backlog of QSL-cards since 2010 has now been fixed. Reply cards for the calls R3/SM6LRR, 4S7LRG, 5B/SM6LRR, SM6LRR and SJ6R will be delivered next week to the bureau (SRR) in Moscow. Sorry for long delay, but the reason is that many of the car ds received went through the Swedish bureau. I seldom visit Sweden and therefore had no chance to pick them up until a few months ago. Have patience a few more months, and I hope the cards will reach you. In case you still do not receive any cards via the bureau, please let me know and I will make sure you get one. I will regularly upload logs from my present call RA/SM6LRR, but will not print any QSL-cards due to the fact I hope to receive a Russian ordinary callsign early next year.
Hello all old and new friends! After adventure in Nizhny Novgorod (R3T) and Rostov-na-Donu (R6L), I have returned to Moscow for a new work assignment.
Since May 8th, 2009, I am finally also QRV with the call R3/SM6LRR from my Summer QTH in Naro-Fominsk. SEE UPDATE Rig is a FT-1000D with the main antenna (10 meter high 1/4-wave vertical for 40 meters). The antenna seems also to perform quite well on 30/20/17/15/12 and 10 meters using a match box.
Please QSL via SSA or SRR bureaus Thanks everyone for QSOs from Cyprus (5B/SM6LRR) and Sri Lanka (4S7LRG). Also using LoTW (since Nov 22nd, 2010) Referee in WRTC-2010 www.wrtc2010.ru
Thanks for all contacts from 4S7LRG (January 22nd / February 5th 2011)
