Around 1968 I started listening on the Ham bands with a 9R4J Receiver which got me interested in Ham Radio.

I have been a ham since 1973. My first transceiver was a Swan Cygnet 270B. In 1990 upgraded to a FT1000D which is still being used. Also use a Heathkit SB220 into a TH6DXX for 20M, 15M,and 10Mat 65 feet on a tiltover tower. On 160M, 80M, 40M, 17M use inverted Vees from the tower. Also use a multiband trap vertical. My wife VE7SDE is also an advanced class amateur since1990.

I am usually on 14.328 AARA net Mon. Wed. Fri. 1700 to 18:00 UTC and also on 21.405 AARAI 20:00 UTC on Sundays.

This station is also set up as a remote base and can be operated over the Internet. Presently being used as a remote station by ON4MI and WL7SO.

You can see a little more at the following link, including R/C Airplanes - http://www.qsl.net/ve7dse/home.html

I am a member of CamRadio.net which meets on 3.773Mhz approximately 2:00 and 4:00 UTC! Check the http://www.camradio.net/ webpage for info how you can join. Download the free software and take a look tonight!! Check out all the live webcams. The live cams use Adobe Flash.

The left cam below will cycle through 3 or 4 different cameras.
