Located in EN-51UT, active on 160 - 10 CW as well as 6 Meters, 2 Meters, 222, 432 and 1296 weak signal. I am actively looking for skeds on PU-43 running a homebrew DSP-10 2 meter transciever (completed 01/03).

I operate repeaters in Batavia Illinois on 1292.00 (1272.00 input); 443.65 (Motorola MDC required) as part of the STROKE WB9PHK system; and IRLP node # 4846 on 224.4 Mhz.

My other interests include work as a volunteer builder and area coordinator for AMSAT with a total of over 100 parts machined for the P3D/Oscar-40 effort. I am an active "Aviation Safety Counselor" with the DuPage FAA FSDO office in West Chicago Illinois and I an an active CFI -Certified Flight Instructor. I hold certificates as Flight Instructor for Single and Multiengine aircraft, the Instrument Instructor rating in both classes of airplane as well as the A&P - Airframe and Powerplant (mechanic) rating.

When not at work at Fermilab as an Engineering Physicist, or working in the shack , I can be found at my hangar at the Aurora Municipal Airport in Sugar Grove Illinois flying (or maintaining) my 1975 Piper Seneca II twin, or my antique 1946 Aeronca Champ.
