Basses: 1983 Fender US Custom Shop Precision w/active EMGs & bridge pickup; 1972 Fender Jazz Fretless/maple fingerboard; 1966 Eastwood fretless semi hollow; Fender US Precision 2003; Fender US Hiway 1 Jazz 2007; Fender Mex Jazz 2005, Fender Mex fretless Jazz 2008; SDGR 5 string w/active Bartolinis 2009Ibanez Acoustic Bass.

Amps: Ampeg B12; Ampeg b15; Oliver B-120 over 4 1968 Jensen Blue-Cap 10's ported; Hartke 4x10 under a Crown 200; Carvin B800 over Carvin 4 X 10; Sound City 50R.

Hobbys:

Base: CW: Icom-740 w/AEA MM3 Morse Machine & Vibroplex Warior paddles. I like to run abut 50 watts on or about 7.030 MHz in the late evening hours; ssb: Kenwood TS-830s with MC-50 and SP-520 (which is superior to the speaker that was actually sold with the 830); standby: Eico 720/730 & Drake 2B; current station antenna G5RV at 40 feet. Broadsides N & S.

Mobile Radio Gear:

Yaesu FT 857D; Yaesu FT-7800; antennas: hamsticks, Larsen 5/8 wave center loaded mag mount for 2m & 70cm.

 

SWL gear: TMC GPR-90; Sony 2010; Yaesu FRG 7; TenTec regen; Archer Globe Patrol regen (my original kit from 1973 and still works GREAT) several trans-oceanics, tube tabletop units & various others worth no mention

 

Classic CB stash: Tram Titan; Browning Twins R27/S23; Lafayette Comstats 25, 25A, 25B, 35; Globe President VIII; Lafayette Micro 12; Johnson Messenger 323; Johnson Messengers 1 & 2; Johnson Messenger III & 300,  General Radiotelephone MC12. Eico 770, 771W, 772. Heath CB1.
